Cascadia Metals is currently accepting resumes for the position of Sales Support Representative in our Edmonton office. In this permanent, full time role, we are looking for a driven team member, who shares our champion's mindset and values. The successful candidates must have a strong work ethic, passion to be part of the team.

Skills And Responsibilities

- Data entry, including entering sales orders and completing periodic system updates (e.g., quarterly pricing updates, coil tag date maintenance, and reserving new tags to blanket orders)
- Monitoring the status of incoming inventory, including interbranch transfers, to ensure timely receipt for order fulfillment
- Following up on customer orders to ensure they are completed and delivered on time; identifying potential issues in advance and notifying the team to prevent delays
- Recording and tracking order delivery statistics
- Obtaining proof of delivery (POD) from internal teams or third-party carriers and providing documentation to customers as required




- Supporting the Inventory Coordinator by monitoring vessel ETAs and communicating any significant changes
- Coordinating inbound container shipments with the Edmonton warehouse, including tracking location and status during final transit and ensuring timely arrival for offloading
- Updating receiving records once inventory is received from container shipments

Qualifications

- A post-secondary degree is preferred.
- A self-starter
- exceptional communication and organizational skills
- A "How Can I Help?" attitude
- Some experience in customer service and sales is preferred.
