Salesforce OmniStudio Tech Lead

Contract Role

Salesforce OmniStudio Tech Lead oversees technical design, development, and delivery of Salesforce Industries solutions using OmniStudio tools. This role blends hands on engineering with architectural leadership, ensuring scalable, performant, and compliant implementations across complex enterprise programs.

Required skills typically include extensive Salesforce and OmniStudio experience, familiarity with Agile, and strong problem-solving abilities.

- 8+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- 3+ years hands on OmniStudio experience (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures).

Key Responsibilities

- OmniStudio Solution Design — Architect and implement OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures for scalable, modular solutions.
- Salesforce Industries Development — Lead development across Industries CPQ, EPC, Communications Cloud, or Revenue Cloud depending on the organization’s domain.
- Technical Leadership — Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and guide architectural decisions.
- Integration Engineering — Build and optimize integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, external systems, and middleware.
- DevOps & CI/CD — Manage Git-based workflows, automated deployments, Vlocity DataPacks, and environment governance.

Required Skills & Experience
- OmniStudio Expertise — Hands on experience with OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures (4–7+ years).
- Salesforce Development — Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and Lightning architecture (8–10+ years).
- Salesforce Industries — CPQ, EPC, Communications Cloud, or Revenue Cloud experience.
- Integration Skills — REST/SOAP APIs, third party systems, and cloud services.
- DevOps Tools — Git, CI/CD pipelines, Vlocity DataPacks, Salesforce CLI.
- Architecture & Design — Ability to design scalable data models, integration patterns, and modular OmniStudio frameworks.
- Leadership & Communication — Proven ability to lead teams, mentor developers, and communicate with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I/II, OmniStudio Developer, Application Architect, System Architect.
- Experience with Salesforce Org migrations, Agile, TDD, and performance debugging.
- Background in telecom, financial services, or communications cloud implementations.
