At Sener, we deliver complex engineering and infrastructure projects across the region. We are looking to connect with experienced Senior Design Engineers with 12–14 years of overall engineering experience and a strong design background in Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) and water transmission/distribution networks.

Key Job Responsibilities

- Lead and undertake design activities for STP and water transmission/distribution network projects from concept through detailed design.
- Develop and review technical studies, calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and other design deliverables.
- Provide technical input and engineering solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure systems.
- Coordinate design activities with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Review designs to ensure technical quality, compliance, and alignment with project requirements.
- Coordinate technical interfaces with clients, consultants, and authorities.
- Identify and resolve technical design issues, risks, interfaces, and changes.
- Provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate engineers.

Job Requirements

- 12–14 years of overall engineering experience.
- Strong design engineering background in water and wastewater infrastructure.




- Proven experience in the design of STPs and water transmission/distribution networks.
- Experience across the design lifecycle from concept through detailed design.
- Strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure design principles and standards.
- Experience preparing and reviewing technical calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and design submissions.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design activities.

Preferred Qualifications

- UAE or GCC water and wastewater infrastructure experience.
- Experience with major STP projects.
- Experience with large water transmission/distribution networks and relevant regional and international water and wastewater design standards.
