Kitchener Hyundai is currently seeking an Apprentice Technician to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership. We are looking to add to our team with someone who wants to learn, grow, and contribute to our overall success. Our shop has a great mix of experience, from recently licensed technicians to team leads with decades of experience. We have a positive culture and supportive team, and we want to keep it that way. We are looking for a 1st - 3rd year apprentice to join our team.

Purpose/Summary of Position:

The Apprentice Service Technician learns automotive services by performing supervised inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations efficiently, safely and according to manufacturer quality and time standards. Complies with manufacturer and dealership's safety and environmental programs and practices. Automotive services may include, but are not limited to drivability, suspensions, alignments, steering, heating and air conditioning, basic and ABS brakes and exhaust systems. These services are dependent on Apprenticeship level. Your pay will depend on your experience, but ranges between $21/hr - $27/hr (plus productivity bonuses).

Candidates must possess:

- Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training required
- 310S License Apprenticeship program registration
- A positive attitude with a desire to learn
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to use diagnostics equipment
