- Fabricate and fit structural steel components
- Perform daily crane checks for safety purposes
- Lay out steel according to specified blueprints
- Operate various welding and cutting equipment
- Mentor less experienced colleagues in protected practices Requirements:
- 5+ years of structural steel fitting/welding experience
- Completion of a welding apprenticeship is an asset
- Must have current CWB certification for FCAW or MCAW
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints
