Position Details - Position #: 162358 - Expected Start Date: September 15, 2025 - Union: HSAS - Facility: West Winds Primary Health Centre - City/Town: Saskatoon - Department: West & North East Nursing & Speech Language Pathology Rural - Type: Part time regular - FTE: 0.5 - Shift Information: Days - Hours of Work: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks - Relief: No - Float: No - Field Hours: Yes - Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Speech Language Pathologist - Masters $43.309 to $52.958 - Travel Required: Yes Reporting to the Manager for Primary Health Care, Saskatoon Speech-Language Pathology, the Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for the prevention, identification, diagnosis and rehabilitation of preschool children (birth to school entry) with communication disorders/delays in the Saskatchewan Health Authority - Rural Saskatoon service area.
"Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement." Education - Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP) Licenses - Valid Class 5 driver's license Competencies - Advanced - Communication skills Knowledge and Abilities - Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team - Knowledge in various intervention strategies for individuals and groups - Ability to work independently - Demonstrates ability in verbal and non-verbal communication techniques - Responsible for accurate observation/documentation of patient related info.
