Job Title: Drapery Tailor Location: North York, ON Pay: $23–$26/hour (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-Time | In Person Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Responsibilities - Measure, cut, sew, and finish custom draperies, sheers, valances, Roman shades, and other window treatments.

- Operate industrial sewing machines, domestic machines, and sergers/overlock machines.
- Create custom pleats, hems, headings, linings, blackout/interlining, and thermal treatments.
- Sew trims, banding, embellishments, and decorative details.
- Match patterned and directional fabrics accurately.
- Read work orders, measurements, drawings, and fabrication specifications.
- Calculate fabric yardage and material requirements.
- Inspect finished products and make adjustments or repairs as required.
- Work with designers, project managers, and installation teams to meet deadlines.




- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area.

Requirements - Experience as a Drapery Tailor, Tailor, or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of drapery styles, sewing techniques, and fabrication standards.
- Proficiency with industrial sewing equipment and hand-finishing.
- Ability to accurately read measurements, work orders, and design specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to handle large fabric rolls and finished panels.
