Role Overview
We are looking for a Security Specialist to investigate incidents, conduct audits, support sales with high‐value packages, and collaborate across departments to minimize risk.
Responsibilities
Investigate incidents of wrongdoing involving employees, customers, and company assets.
Prepare detailed incident reports for civil or criminal proceedings.
Conduct security audits and inspections of protective systems.
Collaborate with Sales, Claims, Customer Service, and Operations to identify loss causes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, or corporate security.
Proficiency with Microsoft Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook.
Experience with security systems such as CCTV, card access, and screening equipment.
Ability to travel regularly within the Vancouver area and support 24//7 operations.
Bondable and able to qualify for a law‐enforcement/private investigator license.
Robust data analysis, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Comfortable working with service dogs.
Regular onsite presence required to support multiple Fed Ex facilities.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of corporate policy, industry programs, national legislation, and internal regulations.
Experience maintaining liaison with local, provincial, and federal law‐enforcement agencies.
Ensuring regulatory compliance while minimizing operational impact.
Point of contact for civil or criminal warrants or production orders.
