Role Description The Telehealth Licensed Counsellor will provide virtual counseling services to clients across diverse geographies and time zones through MantraCare’s digital platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting video or audio sessions, performing assessments, developing treatment plans, and documenting clinical notes in compliance with professional and organizational standards. The counsellor will collaborate with an AI-supported care ecosystem, reviewing AI-generated insights, contributing to care pathways, and coordinating with other mental health and wellness professionals when escalations are needed.
Additional tasks may involve crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and participation in case reviews or supervision as appropriate. This is a part-time,
remote role that requires reliable access to secure technology and adherence to ethical and regulatory requirements in the counsellor’s licensing jurisdiction.
Qualifications
- Active professional license to provide counseling/psychotherapy (e.g., LMHC, LPC, LCSW, Psychologist, or equivalent) in at least one jurisdiction, with strong knowledge of clinical ethics and telehealth regulations.
- Demonstrated skills in individual counseling, client assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities (such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based approaches, or solution-focused therapy).
- Experience delivering mental health services via telehealth platforms, with proficiency in using secure video conferencing tools, electronic health records, and basic digital communication tools.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely and work with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary, AI-supported care environment, including openness to data-driven insights and coordinated care with other clinicians.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, including accurate clinical documentation, adherence to outcomes tracking, and consistent follow-through on client care plans.
- Preferred experience in workplace mental health, chronic condition support (e.g., diabetes, MSK), or integrated behavioral health programs.
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field, with ongoing commitment to continuing education and career development.
