- Responsible for maintaining and repairing Traffic Control & Street Lighting equipment.
- Assumes the duties of the Crew Leader when assigned.

Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience:

- ? A certified Journeyman Electrician (Licence) or Journeyman Power Lineman Licence is required Skills/Abilities:
- ? Must possess and maintain a valid Class “G” Ontario Drivers Licence, or equivalent
- ? Must meet the definition of a competent driver as defined by the Corporation
- ? Must be reliable with the ability to effectively assign work, direct and instruct employees
- ? Must be capable of dealing with the public in a courteous and tactful manner
- ? Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English fluently
- ? Must be competent within the meaning of the Occupational Health & Safety Act, as amended, and
- be capable of issuing clearly understandable written and oral instructions Assets:

Experience in installation, maintenance and repair of Traffic Control & Street Lighting systems CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

- ? Within 15 working days of receiving a conditional offer of employment, must successfully obtain a
- written beginners licence for an Ontario “D” Class drivers licence with a “Z” endorsement
- ? After training, must obtain and maintain an Ontario "D" class licence with a ‘Z’ endorsement
- ? Must remain a competent driver as defined by the Corporation
