Maracas Bay Consulting Inc. is supporting a public sector initiative and is looking to engage an experienced incorporated Intermediate Trainer to support a Procurement System Modernization project. The successful candidate will develop and deliver training to help employees successfully adopt new systems, processes, and tools.

Work Arrangement: 100% onsite

Duration: October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027

Contract: Approximately 1 year

Hours: 36.25 hours per week / 7.25 hours per day

Standard Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM MT

Scope: The role conducts learning needs and audience analysis; defines role-based strategies and delivery approaches; and designs, develops, facilitates, evaluates, and maintains instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, multimedia, digital adoption, and performance support solutions. The role works with business and technical stakeholders to validate requirements, resolve competing feedback, manage multiple deliverables and risks, and maintain training quality, accessibility, consistency, currency through established governance. The role uses learner feedback, assessments, performance and adoption insights to improve solutions, provides guidance to junior contributors, and uses approved digital, collaboration, multimedia, and AI-enabled tools in accordance with Government of Alberta policies and standards.

Qualifications

- Experience conducting learning needs analysis, audience and role assessment, work-context analysis, and requirements gathering to support practical,



role-based learning solutions.
- Experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end learning solutions, including instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, multimedia, job aids, and performance-support resources.
- Experience facilitating instructor-led and virtual training for diverse technical and non-technical audiences using plain language, demonstrations, activities, and learner-engagement techniques.
- Experience designing or configuring digital adoption, embedded guidance, walkthroughs, contextual support, or in-application performance support using WalkMe or a comparable digital adoption platform.
- Experience developing accessible e-learning, instructional video, audio, or multimedia content using Articulate 360, Rise, Captivate, Camtasia, Canva, Vyond, Adobe tools, or comparable products.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools to support instructional design, analysis, content development, or communications while validating outputs for accuracy, accessibility, privacy, and organizational standards.
- Experience using learner feedback, assessments, performance measures, adoption indicators, or other evaluation methods to assess training effectiveness and improve learning solutions.
