Serving as a trusted industry expert, you will combine long-term vision with hands-on leadership to maximize portfolio performance across the Prairies region, strengthening crucial broker relationships and shaping regional business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership & Portfolio Management: Develop and execute regional business strategies using data-driven portfolio insights to boost market share and profitability.

- Team Development & Culture: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing underwriting team, fostering an environment rooted in accountability, continuous learning, and teamwork.

- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, collaborative partnerships with key commercial brokers and institutional clients throughout the region.

- Operational Excellence: Drive efficiency and quality across underwriting processes to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with national corporate goals.

Qualifications





- 10 years of commercial insurance underwriting experience.

- 5 years of direct people leadership experience with a proven track record of developing teams.

- Demonstrated ability to make strategic, data-informed business decisions.

- Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
