Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Pay: $19–$20/hour to start, with room for more based on experience and qualifications

Role Description The VMI / Warehouse Associate is a full-time, on-site position based out of our Burnaby warehouse. You will split your time between our Burnaby warehouse and customer sites, supporting both warehouse operations and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) services.

This role is responsible for receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming materials, as well as packing and preparing orders for shipment. The associate will operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, maintain accurate inventory records, and support VMI activities at customer locations.

Day-to-day tasks include:

- Receiving, verifying, and organizing incoming shipments




- Unloading and storing materials safely and efficiently
- Picking, packing, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment
- Replenishing inventory at customer VMI locations
- Checking inventory levels and identifying discrepancies
- Entering orders and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
- Supporting VMI operations at customer sites
- Occasional customer interaction and coordination with the sales team
- Assisting with continuous improvement of warehouse and VMI processes

Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence is required
- Experience with Shipping & Receiving activities, including verifying and documenting inbound and outbound orders
- Experience with packing and unloading tasks and the ability to handle materials safely and efficiently
- Forklift experience and certification are preferred
- Ability and willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry; familiarity with warehouse management or ERP systems is an asset
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliability in following procedures and safety guidelines




- Physical ability to lift and move materials as required and work on your feet for extended periods
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or VMI environment is an advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Working Conditions
- Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
- You will split your time between our Burnaby warehouse and customer sites
- Daily travel between customer sites and our Burnaby warehouse
- Company vehicle provided for work-related driving
- Combination of warehouse and outdoor customer-site work
- Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving materials
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Warehouse environment includes forklifts, loading docks, noise, dust, and seasonal temperature changes
- Occasional overtime may be required for urgent customer orders
