This co-op position is to support the Communications Integrated Product Team within the River Class Destroyer (RCD) Program. The candidate will be joining a multi-disciplined team environment.

The Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

- Collaborating on system design activities with senior systems engineering and other engineering staff, including supporting technical reviews
- Performing requirements analysis
- Reviewing requirements, requirements allocation and trade studies
- Performing system modelling and design, including Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- System architecture and design
- System integration planning
- Design documentation
- Planning and managing team tasks in JIRA
- Managing team information in Confluence
- Following systems engineering processes and best practices.

Basic Qualifications

- Pursuing a degree in System Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field




- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical members of the engineering/management staff and personnel assigned to related work
- Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely manner
- Candidate must be available for four (4) months, starting January 2027
