Copper Branch Oshawa is looking for a motivated, reliable, and customer-focused Store Manager / Store Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations and lead our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, excellent customer service, food quality, cleanliness, employee performance, inventory management, and compliance with company and food-safety standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure the store runs efficiently. Lead, supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff. Create and manage employee schedules based on business needs. Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer concerns professionally. Maintain Copper Branch standards for food quality, preparation, presentation, and portion control. Ensure all food-safety, sanitation, and health & safety procedures are followed. Manage inventory, product receiving, storage, stock rotation, and ordering. Monitor food waste, product usage, and inventory discrepancies. Handle POS transactions, cash management, deposits, and daily sales procedures. Monitor sales, labour costs, food costs, and overall store performance. Complete opening and closing procedures and ensure proper shift handovers. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant. Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback. Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and workplace conduct.



Address operational issues quickly and communicate important matters to ownership/management. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee development. Ensure restaurant equipment and facilities are properly maintained. Take responsibility for the store in the absence of senior management. Help achieve sales, profitability, customer-service, and operational targets. Maintain a positive, professional, respectful, and team-oriented workplace. Qualifications Previous restaurant, food-service, retail, or hospitality management/supervisory experience preferred. Solid leadership and team-management skills. Excellent customer-service and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working with POS systems and basic computer applications. Knowledge of food safety and restaurant operations. Reliable, punctual, professional, and able to lead by example. Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Food Handler Certification is an asset.
