Temporary Cafeteria Cook & Food Service Helper • Location: Shaftesbury School area, Winnipeg. • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. • Term: Approximately 4–6 weeks, with the possibility of a permanent 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. position. • Pay: $17–$20 per hour, based on experience. • Duties include food preparation and basic cooking, serving students, operating a cash register, cleaning dishes and work areas, and maintaining a clean, organized cafeteria. *This role is in an active high-school cafeteria and involves regular interaction with students in Grades 9–12. Applicants must communicate respectfully and professionally, maintain appropriate boundaries, remain calm and courteous during busy service periods, and contribute to a safe, welcoming, and inclusive school environment. *The successful applicant must maintain a clean, neat, workplace-appropriate appearance consistent with food-safety and school-site expectations. Robust customer-service skills, sound judgment, reliability,



and a respectful approach when working around youth are required. *Employment is conditional on successfully completing the school’s required screening, including a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and a Child Abuse Registry Check.
