With offices in Kamloops and Williams Lake, we’re close to the projects and the people we serve.The OpportunityWe’re looking for a Controls Systems Engineer or Technologist to join our Kamloops or Williams Lake team and take ownership of projects across central and northern BC. You’ll move fluidly between design, programming, and commissioning — and between the office and the field — while building the kind of client relationships that turn one project into the next five.This is a hands‑on role for someone who’s as comfortable troubleshooting a control panel onsite as they are refining a schematic at their desk. Day to day, that looks like:Designing electrical control panels and control systemsProgramming PLCs and HMIsRunning testing and verification (FAT and SAT) to confirm systems perform as designedTraveling across the province for field reviews, client meetings, troubleshooting, and commissioningMentoring junior engineers and designers through technical challengesLeading client meetings and translating their requirements into deliverable scopeWhat You BringA Bachelor of Applied Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, or a two-year+ Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of experience in an electrical and controls environmentEngineers:



registration (or eligibility) with Engineers and Geoscientists of BC, with P.Eng. status or actively working toward it. Technologists: registration (or eligibility) with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BCProficiency in PLC programming across platforms such as Schneider Modicon, Allen‑Bradley, and SiemensExperience with HMI software such as iFIX, FactoryTalk, WinCC, or VTScadaA solid grasp of networking principles — switching and routing;
firewall experience is a plusWorking knowledge of virtualized environmentsStrong mechanical aptitude and a genuinely hands‑on approach to problem‑solvingClear, confident communication — written and verbal — and a knack for building client trust quicklyAn entrepreneurial streak and the drive to take real ownership of your projectsA valid passport and driver’s license, and Canadian citizenship or permanent residencyThis position is Safety Sensitive;
