Charton Hobbs is seeking a Director, Finance (Control & Performance) to play a key leadership role in financial governance, business performance, and continuous improvement of operations.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for the integrity of financial information, the full accounting cycle, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and internal controls. You will also act as a key financial leader and business partner to internal teams, enabling and shaping decision-making while driving financial and operational performance across the organization.What You Will Do
Oversee monthly accounting activities and financial statement preparationLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysisMonitor cash flow, margins, costs, and key performance indicatorsLead,



coach and develop the finance team, fostering accountability, collaboration and professional developmentStrengthen internal controls and financial reporting qualitySupport analysis of margins, costs, inventory, and profitability driversCollaborate with internal teams and external partners on financial and operational mattersEnsure compliance with internal policies, tax requirements, and regulatory obligationsContribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting toolsProvide clear, rigorous, and action-oriented financial insights to leadershipYour Profile
CPA designation requiredBilingual in French and EnglishStrong experience in accounting, finance, budgeting, and financial analysisAdvanced Excel skills and comfort with financial systems (Business Central an asset)Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing prioritiesAbility to translate financial information into actionable insights and influence decisionsCollaborative leadership style, with demonstrated ability to lead, develop and motivate a teamContinuous improvement mindsetWhy join us?
