We are looking for an experienced

Ab Initio ETL Developer

with robust expertise in data engineering, ETL development, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Ab Initio tools, Python-based data processing, and working with large-scale datasets in an enterprise environment, preferably within financial services

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum

6 years of experience

in Ab Initio development

Strong expertise in

ETL design and development using Ab Initio tools

Hands-on experience with

Python for data engineering tasks

Experience working with

Oracle or other relational databases

Proven expertise in

performance tuning and optimization

Strong understanding of

data modeling concepts

Exposure to

Agile/Scrum methodologies

Basic awareness or working knowledge of

AI tools and technologies

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using

Ab Initio (GDE, Co-Operating System, and EME)

Develop and implement





conductors, vectors, and metaprogramming techniques

Work on

PDL, resource pool management, and dynamic lookups

Build scalable data pipelines using

Python

for data processing and automation

Perform

data modeling, database design, and performance tuning

Work extensively with large datasets in

Oracle or other relational databases

Optimize

Ab Initio graphs

for performance and efficiency

Conduct

code reviews , enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables

Collaborate with

business stakeholders

to understand and translate data requirements

Troubleshoot

production issues

and implement long-term solutions

Provide

technical leadership and mentorship

to junior developers

Ensure adherence to

data governance, security, and compliance standards
