The Estimator will bring a minimum of five years of experience in structural steel costs, enabling accurate pre-qualification submissions and cost analyses. You will communicate effectively with various stakeholders to adjust estimates based on project requirements. This role demands strong skills in MS Excel and the ability to set up project monitoring systems, all performed onsite.
Key Responsibilities: • Prepare pre-qualification submissions for clients • Advise on and analyze tendering procedures • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications • Liaise with architects and owners on project costs • Establish and maintain directories of supplies
Requirements: • At least 5 years of relevant estimating experience • Strong knowledge of MS Excel • Expertise in projects ranging from $0 to $8,000,001 • Specialization in structural metal or steel • Availability for onsite work only
