Job Description Allied Universal is seeking Security Site Supervisor - Commercial/Retail Facility in Downtown Toronto

SecuritySite Supervisor - Commercial/RetailFacility

Location:

Downtown Toronto

Position: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $28.00-$29.50/hour

Schedule: 0800 -1600 Monday to Friday, with flexibility for additional hours

Downtown Toronto . This leadership role is ideal for ahighlyexperienced securitysupervisorwho thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment and has a proven ability to lead, develop, and support a diverse team.

The successful candidate will be an effective leader with strong operational experience, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service whilemaintaininga safe and welcoming environment for tenants, retailers, and visitors. Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of the security team.





Develop, manage, andmaintainemployee schedules to ensureappropriate staffinglevels while meeting operational requirements.

Foster positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and performance management.

Coach, mentor, and develop team members to promote continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.

Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with company policies and client expectations.

Build andmaintainstrong working relationships with the client, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Respond to incidents, emergencies, and customer concerns while ensuringappropriate documentationand follow-up.

Assistwith recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training of security personnel.

Complete incident reports, performance documentation, and operational reports accurately andin a timely manner.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies, company procedures, and applicable legislation.

Other duties as assigned

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of all direct and indirect reports;

Understands property management and property security and life safety needs;

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google products;

Knowledge and understanding of applicable federal,provincialand municipal legislation and regulationsin the area ofsecurity and life safety management; and





Sound knowledge of industry techniques and emergent trends in security and life safety management.

Budget and Administration:

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in the security industry, preferably in a commercialpropertyenvironment.

Demonstrated experience in employee scheduling and workforce management.

Strong background in employee relations, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Exceptional customer service and client relationship management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Proven ability to lead by example while motivating and developing a high-performing team.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Proficiencywith Microsoft Office and scheduling or workforce management software.

Valid Ontario Security GuardLicence.

Valid First Aid/CPR.
