In your capacity as an RPN at AgeCare, you will play an essential role in administering nursing care to residents while working closely with the healthcare team. Your responsibilities will include liaising with physicians and providing direction to Personal Support Workers to ensure optimal care for residents. Through your work, you will help revise and implement vital nursing procedures that cater to resident needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized nursing care to residents • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on care plans • Direct and mentor Personal Support Workers • Participate in quality assurance and procedural revisions • Communicate resident status changes effectively
Requirements: • Valid Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario • Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing • Knowledge of health regulations and policies • Excellent communication skills with team members • Dedication to maintaining high-quality care standards
