About the Role
As a Travel Registered Nurse in Nova Scotia, you'll provide essential care in diverse healthcare settings, from Halifax's major hospitals to rural health centers. Whether you specialize in Medical/Surgical, ER, OR, L&D;/OB, or Nurse Practitioner care, your expertise will help strengthen healthcare delivery across the province. We provide travel and accommodation support so you can focus on patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide patient/family education on treatment and recovery
- Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and workflows
Requirements
- Active Nova Scotia RN license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Specialty certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CTAS, NRP (as applicable)
- 3+ years recent hospital experience in your specialty
- Explicit criminal record check (within 180 days)
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability
- Willingness to travel for 8-12 week contracts
