- Assist producers and marketers with all aspects of servicing commercial accounts
- Meet existing clients’ needs and process documentation, including Certificates of Insurance, Cover Notes, Renewals, Proposals, Endorsements, In-House Policies, Invoicing, Finance Contracts, and Customer Correspondence
- Review policy documentation from insurers for accuracy before forwarding to clients
- Contact clients for renewal information
- Take client calls and answer coverage questions
- Accept and process online quotes
- Negotiate with insurers on coverage and price in conjunction with the producer
- Update client information as changes occur
- Answer account-related questions and requests from clients, lawyers, and banks
- Provide policy and coverage information to clients
- Support the floater position through minimal but regular duties
- Work closely with Commercial account Producers and Marketers to build long-term client relationships

Requirements

- Level 2 Insurance License
- 1 year of commercial insurance experience considered an asset
- 1 year of general insurance industry experience considered an asset
- Industry designation considered an asset (CIP, CAIB, CRM, or General Insurance and Risk Management Diploma, BCIT)
- Highly self-directed with a strong sense of urgency and ability to manage own workload
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Commitment to established processes, policy, and compliance requirements




- Team-oriented approach and genuine interest in contributing to a diverse team
- Strong customer service focus
- Clear and credible written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Successful background check required
- Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience
