As a nurse, you will engage with a multidisciplinary team to address health determinants impacting clients. Your role will include conducting assessments, providing health education, and advocating for clients' access to traditional and up-to-date health services. Experience with Indigenous populations and foot care services for diabetes management will be crucial to your success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute thorough health assessments and clinical duties
• Support clients in accessing both traditional and western health care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Deliver health education and counseling to individuals and families
• Focus on preventive foot health for diabetic clients
Requirements:
• Diploma in Nursing and registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Clear vulnerable sector check and driver's license
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification
