GFL’s Fleet Maintenance division is seeking an experienced Journeyman Mechanic to join their team. Your focus will be on repairing and maintaining a range of vehicles, including Hydrovacs and Highway Trucks. The role demands strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to meet safety standards while completing repairs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on vehicles
• Repair mechanical systems including engines and transmissions
• Ensure compliance with GFL safety standards and regulations
• Test repaired equipment to verify performance
• Maintain accurate documentation for completed repairs
Requirements:
• Journeyman Certification required
• Experience with the CVIP Motor Vehicle Inspection Program
• Robust mechanical skills across various machinery
• Class 5 Drivers License with a clean abstract required
• Tool ownership and storage toolbox mandatory
