This continuing position requires 32.5 hours per week focused on maintaining a clean and tidy workplace for students in grades 6 to 9. Under the supervision of the Head Building Operator, you'll perform various cleaning tasks while upholding safety standards. Your attention to detail and pride in workmanship will directly contribute to a positive school atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness of school buildings, furnishings, and contents
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks with attention to detail




• Ensure sidewalks and entrances are free from ice and snow
• Conduct building security checks as scheduled
• Follow Occupational Health & Safety and WHMIS guidelines
Requirements:
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Certifications in cleaning are an asset
• Familiarity with school environments is an asset
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures
• Effective communication skills required
