Read and interpretengineering drawings, blueprints, charts andtables

Inspect machinedparts and tooling in order to maintain quality controlstandards

Inspects, tests, andadjusts current and reworked tools, dies, gauges, jigs, andfixtures, for conformance to specifications, for example,dimensions, tolerances, and hardness

Work for machinery,equipment, motor vehicle, automotive parts, aircraft, and othermetal products manufacturing companies and for machineshops

Verify dimensions ofmachined parts or tooling using micrometers, verniers,callipers, height gauges, optical comparators, co-ordinatemeasuring machines (CMM) or other specialized measuringinstruments

Applying knowledge oftool and die design, shop mathematics, and machining and testingprocedures, using precision measuring instruments, testingequipment, and handtools

Report deviationsfrom specifications and tolerances to supervisor andcomplete and maintain inspection reports





Examines defectiveparts to determine cause of defect and recommends changes ormodifications

Work in woodmanufacturing and food processing plants, as well as inrefineries

They fit and assemblemachined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and powertools and verify dimensions of products for accuracy andconformance to specifications using precision measuringinstruments

Writes reportregarding inspection and testing results

Requirements

3 – 5 years provenworking experience in related field

Must have a strongattention to detail

Able to communicatecomplicated technical ideas with precision andclarity

Need to have goodphysical mobility

Able to lift heavyobjects and handle production pressures calmly

Able to work in aTeam
