Become part of Memorial University's School of Social Work as a Coordinator of Academic Programs. This contract role involves managing admissions and facilitating student support initiatives for a thriving academic environment.
As an integral team member, you will report to the Academic Programs Manager. Your focus will be on coordinating admissions, overseeing course administration, and leading recruitment efforts aimed at increasing student interest in Social Work programs. In addition, you'll collaborate with Field Education Coordinators to enhance student experiences.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage admissions for BSW, MSW, and PhD programs • Handle course audits, registrations, and administration • Coordinate academic events,
including orientation • Facilitate student inquiries and academic requests • Develop promotional materials for Social Work programs
Requirements: • Minimum three years in post-secondary administration • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or similar • Familiar with academic regulations and university systems • Robust attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to provide academic advice and support
