As the Manager, you'll work closely with the City Engineer, applying your civil engineering background to manage development projects and interact with various agencies. You should possess a P. Eng. designation along with three to five years in municipal engineering. Your leadership will be instrumental in advancing community projects and facilitating effective communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage preparation of municipal environmental assessments • Review and approve engineering plans for subdivisions • Develop capital budgets for major infrastructure projects • Oversee project management from design to completion • Liaise with stakeholders for project alignment
Requirements: • University Degree in Civil Engineering & P. Eng. designation • Minimum of 3-5 years’ municipal engineering experience • Excellent communication and public relations skills • Proficient in engineering software and standards • Strong organizational and conflict management skills
