As part of the vibrant community recreation team, you will support both təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic and Community Centre and Queensborough Community Centre. This position requires robust organizational skills and the ability to develop programs that meet community needs. Collaborate with Program Coordinators and supervise frontline staff, making a significant impact in your community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and promoting community programs • Supervise front line workers and program staff • Communicate effectively with staff and community partners • Conduct needs assessments and make recommendations • Provide building supervision during events
Requirements: • Certificate or diploma in Recreation or related field • Proven experience in leadership and recreation programming • Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license • First Aid and CPR certification • Strong organizational and communication skills
