This role is essential in establishing and refining a comprehensive Safety Management System while guiding leadership in effective safety strategies.

Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement the Safety Management System (SMS)



• Lead department-wide safety training and compliance initiatives • Coach safety personnel and prioritize organizational safety needs • Ensure ongoing compliance with health and safety legislation • Conduct internal audits to enhance safety performance

Requirements: • Degree, diploma, or certification in Occupational Health and Safety • Minimum of 7–10 years in health and safety management • Familiarity with WorkSafeBC and industry regulations • Experience leading safety programs in diverse operational settings • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
