This full-time role involves significant administrative and instructional responsibilities as the Founding Program Director. You'll play a vital role in promoting and developing engineering programs, ensuring they meet SACSCOC and ABET standards. Teaching face-to-face classes and collaborating with industry partners are key components of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach engineering courses within the new programs
• Promote programs throughout the Victoria region
• Oversee lab and classroom development




• Manage departmental administrative affairs
• Maintain relationships with educational institutions and industries
Requirements:
• Earned master’s degree in engineering or technology
• Relevant industry experience in engineering
• Doctorate in engineering preferred
• Knowledge of ABET accreditation process
• Strong communication and community engagement skills
