Become a crucial part of Amrize as a Highway Maintenance Operator in Northern Alberta. This full time role requires truck operation and manual maintenance tasks to support highway safety.
You’ll engage in 12-hour shifts, alternating as needed. Your tasks include inspecting highways, operating snow plow trucks, conducting repairs, and maintaining a record of work completed. Compliance with safety measures and participation in safety training will bolster team safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect highways and document road conditions
• Operate trucks for snow removal and maintenance tasks
• Engage in repairs including crack sealing and guardrails
• Handle equipment maintenance and servicing
• Complete required paperwork efficiently
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ truck driving experience
• Required Class 3 driver’s license with air brake
• Willingness to travel to remote areas
• Strong adherence to safety processes
