We are seeking a dedicated Elementary Arabic Language and Islamic Studies Teacher to teach Kindergarten to Grade 7 students. The successful candidate will report to the Principal. Main Duties Teach Arabic Language and Islamic Studies to Kindergarten to Grade 7 students. Prepare and present course material and lessons in line with the approved curriculum, including lesson plans, classroom materials, and assignments. Develop and maintain Arabic Language and Islamic Studies course materials for Kindergarten to Grade 7. Prepare, administer, and mark assignments and assessments, and evaluate student progress. Prepare and maintain student progress reports. Identify students individual learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Maintain a safe, inclusive,



and respectful classroom environment. Communicate with parents, staff, and school administration regarding student progress and conduct. Participate in staff meetings, school events, and career development activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in education with major in Arabic and Islamic studies or a related field. Valid British Columbia teacher certification, a Certificate of Qualification or an Independent School Teaching Certificate (ISTC), or eligibility to obtain an Independent School Teaching Certificate. Proficiency in Arabic (native or near native) Educational and Sound Knowledge of Islamic Studies.
