Provide exceptional leadership in emergency medicine as the Lead at Roseway Hospital in Shelburne. This part time role focuses on maintaining high standards of patient care.

Nova Scotia Health seeks an experienced physician to take on the Emergency Medicine Lead position. You will be pivotal in implementing the NSHA mission while ensuring quality and compliance within the Emergency Department. Collaborating closely with various department heads, you will take part in strategic planning and ensure efficient operational workflows within the department, enhancing overall patient care.

Key Responsibilities:



• Maintain emergency care standards and regulatory compliance • Collaborate with zone department heads and medical leads • Act on reports affecting patient care within the ED • Participate in clinical and operational committees • Oversee emergency physician staff credentialing

Requirements: • Credentialed physician with NSHA privileges • Active clinical department member • Dedication to patient care and quality improvement • Support for teaching and research activities • Commitment to annual performance assessment
