Lead technology initiatives as the Technology Support Manager with the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. This hybrid role focuses on infrastructure management and user support in Washington, DC or Ottawa.
As an integral part of SFI, you will report to the Senior Director of Technical Operations. With your extensive IT expertise, you'll manage technology infrastructure, ensure system security, and conduct staff training on IT resources. Your strategic impact will enhance organizational efficiency and promote a collaborative IT culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage technology infrastructure design and maintenance
• Coordinate staff training on IT security practices
• Oversee daily operations of cloud-based systems




• Address escalated technical issues and improve processes
• Ensure compliance with software licensing and security policies
Requirements:
• Minimum five years of IT experience, two years in management
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft and networking infrastructure
• Proven IT security and privacy policy experience
• Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills
