The successful candidate will join ECN’s Electrical Systems team to perform work on complex assignments associated with the design of gas turbine engine electrical and electronic accessories; specifically to design, validate and certify gas turbine engine control systems and associated components for P&WC; gas turbine engines. This is a position which requires a solid understanding of electronic control system design for engine electronic control units as well as the application of sensors and actuators associated with turbine engine control systems. Candidates will be expected to perform initial system engineering analysis for new electronic engine control systems as well as create specifications for these systems and evaluate supplier responses those specifications.
