As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Surgical Services, your role will encompass a variety of nursing responsibilities aimed at benefiting patients and communities. You will engage in both teaching and advocacy, leveraging your problem-solving skills to ensure comprehensive patient care. This is a part time position (0.63 FTE) with day shifts and weekends off.
Key Responsibilities: • Execute safe, high-quality nursing care for patients • Lead health promotion initiatives among patients • Educate and counsel families regarding care options • Advocate effectively for each patient’s needs • Collaborate within a shared values framework
Requirements: • Completion of an accredited nursing program • Eligible for CRNA practice registration • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required • Dedication to patient safety and well-being • Flexibility to work scheduled day shifts
