Embark on an exciting Electrical Engineering Co-op with Elk Valley Resources, commencing in January 2027. Develop practical skills in a thriving mine workplace while ensuring safety and efficiency.
This 8 or 12-month co-op is designed for students looking to apply their engineering knowledge to real-world challenges. You will assist in troubleshooting electrical failures, project planning, and equipment design while collaborating across multiple departments. Maintaining line drawings and supporting electrical reliability engineering will also be key tasks in this hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in health and safety compliance programs
• Support electrical projects and maintenance initiatives




• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation failures
• Document preventative maintenance practices
• Update drawings and designs using AutoCAD
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License essential
• Experience in a technical or engineering role is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills for all levels
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Power Systems preferred
