This role involves working collaboratively with a Senior Residential Carer to provide stability and care for children and young people. You will be essential in helping them manage their emotions, develop essential life skills, and achieve personal goals outlined in their care plans. Shift availability requires adaptability to evenings, weekends, and wide-ranging schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist young people in achieving their Individual Case Plans
• Foster independence and community connections
• Encourage personal interests and support activities




• Address behavioral challenges and emotional regulation
• Teach daily living skills, including cooking and housekeeping
Requirements:
• Certificate IV in relevant support fields or working towards one
• Experience with young people in difficult situations
• Excellent communication skills and professional boundaries
• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certifications
• Desirable knowledge of behavioral support models
