At the University of Ottawa and The Ottawa Hospital, two hematologists will join a dynamic team dedicated to benign hematology. This position offers a robust academic workplace, training opportunities for early career hematologists, and focuses on significant clinical programs. Mentorship and support in individual research interests will be integral.

Key Responsibilities:



• Deliver clinical care in benign hematology areas • Support and train future hematologists in clinical practice • Lead projects in clinical research or quality improvement • Engage in shared clinic structures with allied health professionals • Partake in comprehensive on-call duties

Requirements: • MD degree and certification eligibility in Hematology • Licensure in Ontario and CMPA membership status • Capability for an academic role at Assistant Professor or higher • Research focus that complements departmental missions • Bilingualism preferred to enhance community engagement
