Become an essential part of the Halifax Regional Centre for Education as an Operations Services Caretaker. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and supervising daily operations within school facilities.

As a Caretaker within HRCE, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for students and staff. This position requires managing custodial operations, overseeing junior staff, and maintaining security within the school premises. Your proactive approach will enhance the overall appearance of the facilities.

Key Responsibilities:



• Maintain cleanliness and organization of facilities • Supervise assigned staff in daily tasks • Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks • Implement energy management practices effectively • Support a safe workplace for all building users

Requirements: • High School Diploma or related educational background • At least two years of custodial experience in similar roles • Ability to lift weights up to 50lbs • Experience with Microsoft Office tools • Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and nights
