The Calgary Stampede is looking for a Venue Services Inventory Controller. This part-time, on-site role involves managing inventory and transporting event assets within a dynamic environment.
In the position of Venue Services Inventory Controller, you’ll be responsible for keeping our work areas protected and organized. Key duties include operating delivery vehicles, conducting inventory counts, and ensuring equipment maintenance. You must be flexible as scheduled hours can vary widely based on team needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport event assets to multiple venues
• Operate forklifts and handle asset repairs
• Maintain tidy asset storage areas
• Conduct regular inventory of items
• Assist with equipment returns and laundry duties
Requirements:
• Over 18 years of age with valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Proven record in inventory management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• WHMIS certification is essential
