About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer with a focus on specialty chemicals to join their team in Kimberley . This role involves the development, scale-up, and optimization of processes for high-value chemical products. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize processes for the synthesis and production of specialty chemicals.
- Conduct laboratory experiments, pilot trials, and plant-scale runs to evaluate process feasibility and performance.
- Analyze process data to identify areas for improvement in yield, purity, and cost efficiency.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including process descriptions, operating procedures, and safety assessments.
- Collaborate with R&D;, production, and quality control teams to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement.




- Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions effectively.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical process development and scale-up, preferably within specialty chemicals.
- Strong understanding of chemical synthesis, reaction engineering, and separation processes.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration in Kimberley .
