Application Development
Design, develop, test, and deploy web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform. Create scalable, maintainable, and reusable application components that align with architectural standards. Translate business requirements and functional specifications into technical solutions. Enhance and maintain existing applications while ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Integration & Data Management
Develop integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs. Work with SQL databases and data models to support application functionality and reporting needs. Integrate applications with Microsoft technologies, SharePoint, Azure services, and third-party platforms as required. Quality & Support
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues. Monitor application performance and implement improvements where necessary. Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and support materials. Partner with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to understand business objectives. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on schedule. Security & Compliance
Ensure solutions comply with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements. Follow established development, release, and governance processes. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered. 3–5 years of software development experience, including hands‑on experience building and deploying applications with OutSystems. Strong understanding of: OutSystems Service Studio Integration Studio Experience working with: REST APIs and API Connectors SQL and relational databases Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience within the Insurance, Risk Management, Brokerage, or Financial Services industries. Experience with Azure services and cloud‑based application development. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated deployments.
Experience developing customer-facing portals or workflow‑driven business applications. Microsoft Power Platform
Experience with the following Microsoft Power Platform technologies is desirable: Power Apps
(Canvas and Model‑Driven Apps) Power Automate Power BI Dataverse Integration with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Teams Core Competencies
