Join UBC as a Journeyperson Electrician, working on afternoon shifts to maintain and install critical electrical systems in Vancouver, BC. Your skills will ensure safe and efficient operations across our campus.

Working under general supervision, you will engage in parts assembly, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. A Red Seal Electrician certification and extensive experience in the field are essential for success in this role. You will play a key role in addressing emergencies and maintaining strong client relationships while adhering to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:



• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems • Troubleshoot faults and provide timely resolutions • Inspect systems to ensure adherence to codes • Install and maintain emerging technologies and automated systems • Maintain comprehensive documentation of work performed

Requirements: • Red Seal Electrician certification mandatory • Valid BC driver's license, class 5 • Proven experience of at least five years • Robust communication skills for team collaboration • Ability to adapt quickly to technical changes
