Own the end-to-end planning strategy for Retail and eCommerce DTC across North America Develop annual, seasonal, and long-range plans aligned with company objectives Establish inventory, sales, margin, and productivity targets Develop strategic inventory approaches throughout the product lifecycle to meet plan and minimize stockouts Build best-in-class Merchandise Financial Planning, Demand Planning, and Inventory Planning teams Own adoption and optimization of o9, the enterprise planning platform Drive automation and exception-based planning processes Lead planning process improvement and transformation initiatives Balance growth, profitability, inventory productivity, and customer experience across channels Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Digital, and Regional Commercial leaders Translate business priorities into actionable planning strategies and execution plans Anticipate business risks and develop mitigation plans Drive organizational transformation and planning maturity Leverage data-driven insights to influence decisions and planning outcomes Partner with Regional Commercial leadership on business planning and key account growth while controlling inventory risks Oversee inventory forecasting, allocation, and resolution strategies across business units Contribute to regional product framework and assortment structure Lead differentiated product strategies by channel, region, and format to achieve revenue and product margin goals Requirements
10+ years' experience in merchandise planning, inventory planning,
or allocation 5+ years experience leading managers and multi-level planning organization Proven track record in developing and leading the execution of a multi-year business strategy Expertise in merchandise financial planning, open to buy, demand planning, inventory planning, and/or allocation & replenishment Experience in SAP and merchandise planning solutions Advanced skills in Excel Strong business acumen with the ability to lead in a complex matrix business environment Strong influential leadership, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the business Ability to set a clear vision, align a team around common objectives, and foster commitment Ability to think strategically and tactically, with persistent attention to detail Solid communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing Proactive issue root-cause identification and solution development Flexibility and adaptability in ambiguity Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration Passion for outdoor activities and living the brand Eligibility to work in Canada Core Competencies
