The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is seeking a Business & Quality Management System Specialist - Procurement to join our team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work toward deploying governance best practices, digitalization, and continuous improvement.
You will be part of a collaborative team, working closely with Business Process Owners, Procurement Quality teams, and digital transformation leaders. Our team is structured to promote cross-functional collaboration and autonomy, while fostering mutual support and collective learning. Your main role will be to define, develop, and optimize our Business and Quality Management System, while deploying innovative digital solutions (such as Skywise and Google Data Studio) to support operational monitoring, seamless integration within Airbus Commercial, and overall organizational excellence.

Your Challenges / In your duties, you will be called upon to: Develop a deep understanding of customers' needs and market trends (incl. business model changes and benchmarks) to translate them into quality requirements. As the Business Management System lead, define the management of Airbus business processes and directives. Contribute to their implementation within the business management system and operations while measuring performance. Continuously improve the business management system and operational application based on feedback and assessments. Support Business Process Owners in defining, updating, and maintaining their business processes. Devise a Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with applicable external regulations, standards, and internal rules. Select, develop, and maintain quality methods and tools (incl. IT solutions and decision-support systems) to guarantee Right First Time delivery on quality, time, and cost. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for quality, methods, and tools to support the deployment of learning solutions. Contribute to company certifications and interface with external quality authorities (ISO, IAQG, EASA, ECSS, TCCA, etc.). Play a key role in Airbus Canada strategic projects and support the Quality Procurement organization's global transformation. Support department integration within Airbus Commercial and deploy associated corporate tools. Identify and drive cross-functional improvement actions to optimize synergies across divisions. Propose and implement digital solutions (Skywise, Google Data Studio, etc.) to support business operations and daily team activities.

Quality Procedural Documentation (Directives, Methods, etc.), Learning Solutions, and Company Certification.
Key Accountabilities: Develop and manage the Business Management System, Quality Management System, Quality Standards, Quality Directives, Quality Methods, and strategic projects.
Responsibilities and Scope for Action:
Complexity (High): Resolution of complex and unprecedented problems impacting multiple processes, functions, or advanced domain expertise. Autonomy (High): Determine mid-to-long term guidelines for the Business Management System cross-divisionally with optimized means and results-based validation. Contribution (High): Significantly impact short/medium-term performance of a process, domain, requirement family, or function.
Your Profile: You hold a certificate, degree, or equivalent in quality, engineering, or a field related to manufacturing (aeronautics, mechanics, project management, etc.). You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry and Quality Management Systems. You have hands-on experience working with suppliers (Quality Procurement). You possess a high level of proficiency with SAP software. You have proven project management experience (principles and tools). A solid understanding and working knowledge of Airbus Commercial tools and processes is required / a pre-requisite. Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards is considered a strong asset. Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office (knowledge of digital/analytics tools like Skywise or Google Data Studio is an asset). You demonstrate strong leadership, autonomy, flexibility, integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and ethics. You are bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written.
