Offer care across a range of settings including hospitals, homes, and hospice, focusing on comprehensive patient support alongside family physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide integrated specialty palliative care services
• Develop interprofessional Palliative Care initiatives
• Care for patients in various settings including hospitals and homes
• Maintain follow-ups with patients and their family physicians
• Mentor medical students and residents from Dalhousie University
Requirements:
• Certification in Palliative Care or equivalent
• Full-time experience in palliative medicine preferred
• Eligibility for specialty licensure in Nova Scotia
• Ability to commute to various care settings
• Experience in therapeutic paracentesis is an asset
